Laziness, a consumptive lifestyle, lack of a financial plan-all can lead to stress fractures in the foundation of one's financial tower. The 10-10-80 plan, based on the wisdom of God's Word, helps us build the necessary strong foundation: 10 percent of God's blessing to us returned to him as our tithe; 10 percent to pay ourselves and invest for the future; 80 percent to pay bills and experience the joyful freedom that comes in learning to live on that amount. It may not be easy, it may not be pain-free, but it can work. You've got to transfer the title deed on your life and everything that you have to God. He becomes the owner; you, the manager. God wants you to be part of a towering success story. He wants to throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing you won't even be able to contain it.
