Course Overview
The Good $ense Budget
Course helps participants discover tools and develop
skills that enable them to control their finances, rather
than allowing their finances to control them. Participants
get practical help and guidance to:
- Remove money as a barrier to spiritual growth
- Prioritize
financial goals
- Identify
action steps to reduce expenses
- Reduce
debt
- Develop
a personalized spending plan
More than just a learning experience
about budgets and finances, the course enables participants
to reflect on their relationship to money and how it impacts
their relationship to God.
No matter what their
circumstances — financial crisis or abundance — Good $ense
can be helpful to everyone in the church.
The result is a congregation whose finances — and lives —
are characterized by grace, joy, and freedom.
Budget Course Goal
The goal of the Budget Course is for participant’s to leave with:
- A Spending Plan (budget) in their hand
- The knowledge in their head to implement it
- The motivation in their heart to follow through
