Vision Tools
Lack of training, absence of helpful resources, low self confidence, and concern over congregational reaction to talking about money are some of the barriers preventing pastors from addressing the topic of stewardship. These same factors can also be obstacles to casting a compelling vision for a Good Sense ministry, gaining leadership support and raising up a team of volunteers. The following tools are designed to help overcome these barriers.
This 15-minute video is an excellent tool for casting a vision for a biblically based stewardship ministry to staff and key volunteers in the local church. It identifies the dilemma that biblical financial stewardship encounters in today's culture, reinforces the importance for this essential ministry area and develops a picture for the life of individuals and a local church when biblical stewardship is a normative core value. It includes testimonies from those whose lives have been changed through the Good $ense Ministry.
